OUR MISSION
The Greater Historic Waverly Development Corporation, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, strives to enhance and promote the rich legacy of the historical Waverly community by providing a supportive and productive partnership. The organization will provide resources, programs and outreach to all generations, every ethnic and social/economic group to impact our community and the city of Columbia, South Carolina.
OUR GOALS
The organization will provide a physical venue for community partners to host health and education seminars, training sessions on various topics and other professional development identified as needs in the community.
The organization will establish and maintain projects via donations and grant funding to provide projects such as a food pantry, clothes bank, health fairs, etc.
The organization will function as a collaborative, productive partner to the historic Waverly community to assist and support identified improvement initiatives and projects.
